Q: Why is the top of my head cut off in some of my photographs? *

A: Photographers zoom in on what is important to portray: the smile, the emotion, the intensity, the action–and for Ellen E Brock, and Soul Photographer™: The Soul Moment Photojournalistic Photographs & Films’–the soul!

Q: Why am I in focus in my photographs but the surrounding area and background around me may be out of focus? *

A: It is called Selective Focus, it strengthens the impact of the photograph: Photographers zoom in on what is important to portray: the smile, the emotion, the intensity, the action, the soul!

Q: Why are graphic design services, and branding services, available only after a photo-shoot service?

A: Graphic Design Services are available only to photography clients because of the importance of presenting you and your image as a complete package of services–one can’t be separated from the other.

“Branding is vital to your image as a person and to your business. Through the photo-shoot experience I will get to know you and your style, and you will get to know me and my style–which is vital to any of your graphic design and branding services–it simplifies everything!” ~ Ellen E Brock

Q: Why should I trade-mark? (The who, what, why, when, and how of trade-marking!)**

A: Trade-marking is vital when you want to protect your Intellectual Property–your company Brand, your concepts and ideas, your company name, logo,  and image–from being used by other people or companies.

Assuming you have created unique concepts and ideas, unique to you and your company, it is your right and responsibility to protect your Intellectual Property–and to ensure that others know that your concepts, ideas, and Brand, have a unique and specific value to you, your company, and your image–and that these concepts, ideas, and Brands, are not to be used by others, or confused with other companies. Your concepts, ideas, brand, and image have value (considered to fall under the “Goodwill” category–in your financial statements (Balance Sheet))–your Brand is your personal Intellectual Property and it needs to be legally protected through trade-marking. You can trade-mark a name, tag-line, logo, and more.

You may legally license the Use of your concepts, ideas, company name, logo, Brand (and image)–to others, and other companies–as an additional step, following trade-marking–if you wish to do so.

NOTE:

* Please refer to modern fine art books & photographs in books, publications, and magazines. Notice that these practices are common art trends.

** Please consult a trade-marks lawyer prior to proceeding with trade-marking.
